JOIN US

The Coast Guard Auxiliary is a civilian volunteer organization which supports the U. S. Coast Guard, primarily in the promotion of boating safety through public education, courtesy vessel safety checks, safety patrols afloat, and search and rescue operations.

Uncle Sam Wants You!

Membership is open to all citizens of the United States and its territories who are at least 17 years old and who are judged suitable for membership, based on national security criteria.  All members and prospective members must submit fingerprints and may be subject to further background screening.

We are always seeking new members to join our team.

Auxiliary membership offers a host of opportunities. Members are able to go beyond the basic boating and safety courses offered to the general public.  Communications, weather, advanced navigation, crew training, and vessel safety examining are just a sampling of the education enrichment courses offered to members.

For further information contact Douglas Yeckley, or fill out an on-line application.
